JAMES T. McLAUGHLIN, 85, of Poca, West Virginia, passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at the Teays Valley Hosptial in Hurricane, West Virginia.

He was born October 3, 1935 in Rand, West Virginia, a son of the late Earl T. and Freda Davis McLaughlin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Barbara Jurkovich, Betty Goff, and an infant sister, Donna Jean McLaughlin.

He is survived by his sisters, Patricia Little of Strongsville, Ohio, Joyce Hoylman of Jacksonville, Florida, and Dorothy Brown of Spencer, West Virginia; and his brother, Roger McLaughlin of Poca.

A service will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer with Pastor Glen Goff officiating. Burial will follow in the Eventide Cemetery in Spencer. Visiting will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
