HELEN DIANA STARCHER, 68, of Spencer, West Virginia passed away on Monday, October 9, 2017 at the Camden Clark Hospital in Parkersburg, West Virginia. She was born on May 16, 1949 in Marietta, Ohio, a daughter of the late Hubert and Irene Hedges Linger. Helen worked at the Spencer Wal-Mart and attended the Epling Chapel Church near Spencer. Helen is survived by her companion Barry Keogh-Dwyer of Spencer; one sister, Carolyn Francis of Dexter City, Ohio; and one brother, Dewaine Linger of Dexter City, Ohio. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Starcher. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at the TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME in Spencer with the Reverend James Epling officiating. Burial will be at the Eventide Cemetery in Spencer. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service on Sunday.
