HAROLD R. WHYTSELL, 73, of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at home. He was born February 18, 1943 in Calhoun County, a son of the late Charles D. and Lovie Slider Whytsell. He was a former contractor building houses and retired from Norris Industries. He attended the Egypt Chapel Church and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Jane E. Tatterson Whytsell and a brother and sister-in-law, Charles R. and Myrtle Whytsell of Spencer. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, William Edward Whytsell. Service will be at 11:00am on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer with Rev. Donald Cottrill officiating. Visiting will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. There will be no procession or graveside service to follow the service at the funeral home.
