Goldie Mae McIntyre,79, of Newton, WV passed away August 25, 2023 at her residence.

She was born April 8, 1944 in Middle Creek in Clay County, WV and was the daughter of the late Harry and Dorothy Conley Boggs.

Goldie was a hard worker and worked as a laborer at Norris Industries. She enjoyed flower gardening, drawing and collecting nick-nacks.

Left behind to cherish her memory is her son, Tim McIntyre (Tammy) of Newton; one brother, Dennis Boggs of Rittman, OH; six grandchildren, Chase, Eve, James, Heather, Elizabeth and Tim; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy McIntyre; son, Jim McIntyre; two sisters, Pauline Myers and Frances Rose; and two brothers, Donald and Gene Boggs.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. ~ Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home at 206 Beauty St. Spencer, WV with burial to follow at Tariff Cemetery in Roane County, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
