Genevieve (Jenny) Phillips, 91, of Spencer passed away September 30, 2021 at Roane General Hospital.

She was born December 24, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William S. Phillips; and nine siblings.

She is survived by her son, Paul Richards (Sharon); one granddaughter, Angie Dever (Philip); and one great grandson, Dakota. She is also survived by two sisters, Teresa Frelick of Michigan, Sylvia Dooley of Kentucky; and special friends, David and  Beverly Alvis of Spencer.

Her family would like to thank Miletree Center for the great care she received over the last few years and the second floor nursing staff at Roane General Hospital for their kindness and compassion during this difficult time.

Per her request there will be no service and her body will be cremated and laid to rest at the Swank cemetery at a later date.
