Alto, WV; grandchildren, Heather, John, Amy, Tina, Cody, Ashley, Kim, Felicia, Crystal, Megan, Haleigh, Travis, Nikki, Kayla, Derick, Sierra, Chelsie, Tori, and Calvin; and great-grandchildren, Bucky, Abigail, Isaiah, Hunter, Kayla, Kelsey, John, Jr., Samuel, Emma, Miley, Addaline, Abilene, Keagan, Morgan, Zoey, Joseph, Donovan, Mila, Connor, Desi, Leah, Braylin, Cooper, Jayden, Jackson, Ella, Brooks, Mikiah, Layla, Jayson, Gabriella, Payton, Rusty, Oliver, and Thomas. Ewell was a picker before picking was cool. He loved to go "junkin" in search of the next treasure and drive old dirt roads telling his many stories to his passengers. Researching family history and passing on his findings to the younger generation was important to him. He loved a good joke and silly pranks on the kids. Ewell worked in the oil field for 15 years, Monarch Rubber for 10 years, and later in life did carpentry work. He loved wood, restoring old pieces and creating his own one of a kind items for family and others. His love of music has been passed down through the generations of family, singing and playing guitar, will always be a part of family fun times.
