Etta Frances "Peg" Miller, 89, of Spencer, WV passed away February 28, 2023 at the Roane General Skilled Nursing Facility after an extended illness.

She was born February 3, 1934 in Charleston, WV and was the daughter of the late Clarence and Cora Beasley Smith.

Peg had worked for many years at Norris Industries; her hobbies included bowling, fishing and cooking.

Etta is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Cremeans of Spencer; brother, Junior Smith; grandsons, Dustin Allen (Martha Kyer) and Rodney Allen (Michelle Anderson) both of Spencer; great-grandsons, Christopher Allen of Beaufort, SC, Nathen Allen of Spencer and Alex Knight of Summersville, SC; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hardy Lee Miller; brothers, Dennis and Dean Smith; sister, Garnett Noe; and granddaughter, April Knight.

Services will be 12:00 P.M. ~ Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer with Pastor Jack Roberts officiating. Burial will take place at a later time at Wright Cemetery in Spencer, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
