Elizabeth Anne Kelly Jones, 67, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025. Born in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Flavy and Ferne Matics Kelly.
Elizabeth was a devoted member of The Village Church in Blythewood. She had a creative spirit and found joy in sketching, listening to music, and researching the lives of classic movie stars.
She is lovingly remembered by her sister, Debra Kelly Hickel Owens (John) of Leroy, West Virginia; her nephew, Brady Hickel IV; nieces, Kelly Jackson (Phillip) and Amy Latham (James); and her great-nieces and nephews: Jordyn, Erin, Joshua, Lindsay, Ian, and Oliver.
In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Brady D. Hickel III;  her ex-husband, Tad Jones;  and her beloved cat, Chester.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., and will be handled by Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home. For additional information, please contact Taylor-Vandale directly.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association in Elizabeth's honor.
