Effie Mae Nichols, 65, of Spencer, WV passed away January 23, 2023 at Roane General Hospital in Spencer.

She was born December 11, 1957 in Roane County, WV and was the daughter of the late Patrick and Bessie Smith Price.

Effie was a homemaker; she enjoyed farming, her animals and playing games on her computer.

Left behind to cherish her memory, are her children, Roger Nichols, III (Michelle) of Spencer and Annette Nichols of Walton WV; four grandchildren, Dalton and Jimmy Coe, Isaiah Nichols and Brooklyn Bowers; great-grandchild, Bentley Coe; sister, Orva Cross of Ohio; companion, Jeffrey Webb of Spencer; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jim Price; sisters, Mary Webb, Tressie Blosser, Mildred Szitas, Leona Burton, Ethel Boggs, Anna Smith and Ruby Price.

There will be no services at this time.
