Dorothy "Ted" L. Harris, 78, of Spencer, WV passed away September 19, 2021 in Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston, WV.

She was born June 1, 1943 in Wirt County, WV and was the daughter of the late William "Bill" and Sarah Lockhart Wise.

She had worked at Kellwood and Gordon's Hospital as an aide. She enjoyed spending time with her family, crossword puzzles, gardening and flowers.

Left behind to cherish her memory, are her three children, Sharon Lesher (David),  Barbara Justice and Billy Harris (Georgia) all of Spencer; five sisters, Barbara Bush, Helen Springston (Bud), Marie Tanner (Orville), Peggy Tanner (Dewey), Katie Elliott (Dick) all of Spencer; two brothers, Robert Wise of Glenville, WV and Ivan Wise of Spencer; seven grandchildren, Jason Lesher (fiancé Rocky), Jeremy Lesher (fiancé Holly), Jonathon Harris, Charles Harris (Rachel), Pina Spencer (Andrew), Nathan Justice (Stephanie) and Natasha Gorby (Daniel).

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Sherman Wise; five siblings, Wanda Westfall, Susan Tanner, Bucky Wise, David Wise, Sherman Wise Jr.; son-in-law, Allen Justice; two granddaughters, Christina Dawn Harris and Sarah Harris; and great-grandson, Austin Harris.

A private family service will be taking place at a later date on the family farm.
