Heaven gained an Angel on Friday, October 21, 2016. Deloris Delaney, 78, of Reedy. Left to cherish memories of her warm heart, love, strength, stubbornness, generosity, dignity, resilience and faith includes son, Rick (Lisa) Delaney; daughter, Tammy (Don) Roberts; daughter, Kelly (Kurt) Limpert; Four grandchildren, Jessica (Drew) Theys, Luke Limpert, Matthew Roberts and Shelby Limpert ; a beautiful great- granddaughter, Charlotte Delaney Theys. Mom had a feisty way about her but always took time to lend a kind ear. She was a fabulous cook that added a pinch of kindness and a dash of wisdom at the dinner table after a hard day spent on the farm. She is preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Dena Pursley, and her brother Delmar Pursley. She is survived by her three brothers, Dale (Dessel) Pursley, Don (Nina) Pursley, and Jack (Kay) Pursley; sister, Jerri (Jerry) Greathouse; and brother-in-law, Bobby Delaney. There will be a Graveside service on Sunday, October 23,2016 at 12:00 pm at Eventide Cemetery, Spencer, WV. The Rev. Jackie Roberts will be officiating. There will be no viewing at the funeral home. Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home of Spencer, WV are in charge of the arrangements.
