DAVID E. STARCHER, 69, of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away March 2, 2025 at home.
He was born October 26, 1955 at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, a son of the late Basil and Delores McCune Starcher.  He was a construction worker and a U. S. Army veteran.
Dave is survived by his wife, Debbie Starcher; daughter, Melinda (Joe) Knight; sons, Greg (Kara) Starcher, Jeremy (Abby) Starcher, and Jason (Sierra) Starcher; siblings, Diana Kersey, Rodney(Denise) Starcher, Jeanne (Frank) Hughes, Jeannette (Bruce) Ketterman, Christi (Danny) Merrill, and Randy (Carolyn) Smith; grandchildren, Kullen, Nora, Olivia, Jameson, Novalee, Aurora, Effie, Ellis, Cameron, and Emma; father-in-law, Jesse Bill Starcher; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Duane Smith; step-brother, Mike; step-sister, Debbie; nephews and niece, Wyatt, Aaron, Christian, and Tyler; brothers-in-law, Mike, John , and Jesse Moe; and mother-in-law, Ocie Hunt.
A service will be held at 7:00pm on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer.   Visiting will be two hours prior to the service.  After the service, per Dave's request, he will then be cremated and buried at a later date at the Clover Cemetery.
