DAVID PORTER STARCHER, 64, of Looneyville, West Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at CAMC General in Charleston, West Virginia.

He was born September 22, 1956, in Charleston, a son of the late Whetzel and Lillian "Flip" Stewart Starcher. He was employed at C&L Enterprise in Parkersburg, West Virginia, enjoyed spending time with his daughter and grandchildren, and enjoyed working at his job, tinkering around the house and hunting.

He is survived by his wife, Penny Greathouse Starcher; daughter and son-in-law, Windy and Joe Welch of Spencer; sister, Peggy (Dick) Dixon of Pennsylvania; brothers, Howard Starcher of Clover, West Virginia, Carl Starcher of Looneyville, and Jimmy (Kathy) Starcher of Mt. Alto, West Virginia; and three grandsons, Zakyia, Aden, and Sebastian.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer, West Virginia with Pastor Danny Whited officiating. Visiting is one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
