Dana Karen Lawson, 73, of Spencer, WV passed away September 11, 2022 at Thomas Memorial Hospital in Charleston, WV.

She was born September 17, 1948 in Kanawha County, WV and was the daughter of the late Dana and Mary Short Myers.

Dana was a wife, mother and homemaker. She enjoyed shopping, sitting on her porches and spending time with family and friends.

Left behind to cherish her memory, is her husband, Jimmy Lee Lawson of Spencer; two daughters, Mary Shanna Dennis (Roy) of Spencer and Sherry Lynn Lawson of Reedy, WV; two sons, Michael Shawn Lawson (Amber Cooper) and Kevin Lee Lawson both of Spencer; two sisters, Donna Foreman (Roger) and Sue Cottrell both of Ohio; four brothers, Joey Myers of Reedy, WV, Danny Myers (Carolyn) of Spencer, Lewis Myers of Spencer and Mike Myers (Inez) of Jackson County, WV; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. ~ Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer with Dick Elliott officiating. Burial will follow at Good Hope Cemetery in Reedy, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
