DAISY MARIE SILKET, 86, of Spencer, West Virginia died December 23, 2019 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia. She was born September 1, 1933 in Buntontown, Tennessee a daughter of the late Spencer Charles and Margie Marie Cable Bunton. She worked for BNW in Barberton, Ohio for over 33 years and volunteered with the Roane General Hospital Auxiliary for years. She was Baptist by faith and attended the Cherry Valley Church. Daisy enjoyed talking and listening to country and gospel music. She is survived by two brothers, Jimmy Bunton of Davison, Michigan and Franklin Dale Bunton of Burton, Michigan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Silket; and three brothers, Dallas, Jack and Ulis Bunton. A graveside service will be held at 10:00am Friday, December 27, 2019 at the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Peniel, West Virginia. TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME, Spencer, is in charge of arrangements. Per her request, there will be no visitation or service at the funeral home.
