CHARLES ALLEN CROWDER, 65, of Gandeeville, West Virginia died Sunday, March 24, 2019 at his home. Allen, as he was known, was born February 6, 1954 in Charleston, West Virginia a son of the late Mayford and Letha Bostic Crowder. He previously worked in construction and did odd jobs. He loved anything to do with the outdoors including hunting, fishing, trapping, growing a garden and farming. He is survived by one son, Richard Allen Bowling of Nitro, West Virginia; two sisters, Carolyn Craft of Spencer, West Virginia and Janet Lou Crowder of Amma, West Virginia; three brothers, James and Roger Crowder, both of Kanawha County, West Virginia and Larry Crowder of Gandeeville; and two granddaughters. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary and Darrell Crowder. The body was cremated with burial of the ashes to take place at a later date on his farm. There will be a memorial visitation on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at the TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME in Spencer, West Virginia; from 12noon until 1:30pm with a short service at 1:30 officiated by Pastor Daniel McClung.
