Charles Edward Crihfield, 83, of Charleston, West Virginia passed away April 22, 2024 at The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Charles was born September 9, 1940 in Gandeeville, West Virginia and was a son of the late Arnold Alexander Crihfield and Swannie Jane Crihfield of Spencer, West Virginia.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Angela Daniel of Charleston, WV.
Charles was a US Army Veteran, a pioneer in the manufactured and modular housing industry in this region with a career spanning 40 years up until his retirement in 2011. He had a love for the outdoors, building & farming, was an avid reader and loving family man.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife Martha Crihfield; son Rodney Crihfield (Jennifer), grandchildren Marissa Iacovone (Dom), Shawn Michael Crihfield, great-grandchildren Dominick & Maverick Iacovone, brothers Keith Crihfield (Patty), Gary Crihfield (Sarah), & Roger Crihfield (Sandy), & many nieces and nephews.
Charles wishes were to be cremated and a celebration of life will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Camp Sheppard, Gandeeville, West Virginia with a memorial service to follow afterwards at 1:30 p.m. at Mt.
