Carolyn Sue Sims, 66, of Spencer, WV passed away May 26, 2023 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

She was born February 21, 1957 in Elizabeth, WV and was the daughter of the late Basil and Roberta George Dye.

Carolyn was a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family and friends.

Left behind to cherish her memory, are her three children, Ryan Sims (Sonja) of Palestine, WV, Kelli Adam (Josh Cunningham) of Elizabeth and Christy Ward (Ty Swartz) of Daytona, FL; three grandchildren, Zakk Adams, Daryn and Kolten Crosby; and three siblings, Evelyn (Roy) Barnett of Elizabeth, WV, Cathy Burdette of Spencer and Michael Dye (April) of Palestine; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron "Tim" Sims.

A graveside service will be 11:00 A.M. ~ Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Good Hope Cemetery in Reedy, WV with Pastor Danny Whited officiating.
