Carlyon Marie McGraw, 75, of Clay, WV passed away December 18, 2022 at Harper Mills Nursing Home in Beckley, WV.

She was born September 29, 1947 in Clay County, WV and was the daughter of the late Robert and Blondie Naylor Runion.

Carlyon was a homemaker. She loved to work on puzzles, going to Bingo, making crafts, cooking, baking, going to yard sales and her bird, "Mikey."

Left behind to cherish her memory, is her daughter, Cassandra "PeeWee" and Michael Lawson of Clay; granddaughter, Mykenlie Lawson of Clay; sisters, Wanita Lawson of Clay, Ruby Demoss of Charleston, WV, Linda Pritt (Roy) of Clay and Wanda Webb (Larry) of Spencer, WV; brothers, Roy (Pat), Billy (Becky), Ralph and Teddy (Alice) Runion all of Clay; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jennings Ford McGraw; sisters, Lucille Runion, Arlene Browning and Sarah Demoss; brothers, Bobbie Lee, James and Clarence Runion.

Special thanks to Michael, Cassandra and Mykenlie Lawson for taking care of her for the past 25 years; and Kenny Lawson for driving her to kidney dialysis for almost 20 years.

A graveside service will be 1:00 P.M. ~ Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Otto Cemetery in Roane County, WV with Pastor Danny Whited officiating.
