BURLDENA EPLING, 80, of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2019 at the Roane General Hospital in Spencer. She was born November 28, 1938 in Spencer, a daughter of the late Burl Roberts and Flaurel Roberts Garred. She was the manager of Farmers Friend, Inc. for the past 30 years. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Burfield of Parkersburg, West Virginia; her son, L.D. Epling of Spencer; her sister, Barbara Roberts Seaman of Spencer; one niece; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry D. Epling and her sister, Betty Roberts Davis. Service will be at 1:00pm on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer with Rev. James Epling officiating. Burial will follow in the Eventide Cemetery in Spencer. Visiting will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
