Bonnie Lou McKown Hockman, 77, of Mt. Pleasant, TN formerly of Spencer, WV passed away May 1, 2022 in TN.

She was born September 1, 1944 in Beech, WV and was the daughter of the late Lee and Vada Mckown.

She was a very giving person that enjoyed helping others. Bonnie enjoyed talking and meeting new people. She worked at Kellwood for 25 years. Bonnie has lived in Tennessee for the last 10 years but was a lifelong resident of Spencer, WV.

Left behind to cherish her memory, is her son, Scott Hockman (Tammy) of TN; two siblings, Phyllis Spurlock (Gary) and Barbara Miller (Kenny);four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her seven siblings, Carol Sue Romine, Iva Hoskins,Gene, Junior, Brice, Billy and Glen McKown.

A graveside service will take place at 11:00 A.M.~Thursday, May 5, 2022 at McKown/Mt. Herman Cemetery in Roane County, WV with Pastor Jack Roberts officiating.
