BOBBY GERALD KISER, 80, of Walton, WV passed away September 3, 2022 at CAMC Memorial Hospice Care in Charleston, WV.
He was born May 14, 1942 at Zona, WV, and was a son of the late Charles L. and Belva M. Wilson Kiser.
Bobby was retired from FWA Drilling out of Houston, Texas and enjoyed fishing, gardening, and Fox News. He and his late wife had spent the last few years between living in Walton and their home in Kissimmee, Florida which they loved very much. He was a member of the Kissimmee Freewill Baptist Church and was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he was a member of the Military Police at Ft. Carson, Colorado.
Bobby is survived by three sons, Robert "Bob" Kiser (Tina) and James Kiser (Soui), all of Thomasville, NC and Glenn Kiser (Darlene) of Walton; sisters, Doris Cook of Kenna, WV, and Shirley Rucker of Elkview, WV; brother, Ronnie Kiser of St. Albans, WV; seven grandchildren, Larry, Joseph, Chaylan, Corey, Ashley, Tatum, and Jaiden; seven great-grandchildren; seven honorary children, Mark and David Dotson, Mark and Charles Ray, Katrina Godbey, Betty Strickland, and Sherry Ray; nine honorary grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Gae Kiser; and his siblings, Dale, Nettie June, Shelia, Jackie, Chuck, Jess, James, and Kenneth.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at the Rocky Branch Cemetery near Walton, with Pastor Ora Holbert officiating.
