Bobby Ray Delaney, 85, born on June 29, 1938 in Reedy, WV earned his wings to fly beyond the stars on August 11, 2023 in Cincinnati, OH surrounded by his loved ones.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Hazel and Della Davis Delaney; brother, Roy and beloved sister-in-love, Deloris Delaney.

He is survived by his nephew, Rick Delaney (Lisa); nieces, Tammy Roberts (Don) and Kelly Limpert; great uncle to Jessica, Matthew, Luke and Shelby; and uncle Bob was great-great uncle to six.

He graduated from Spencer High School in 1955. Then traveled to WVU graduating with a Aerospace Engineering degree. After graduating he worked for NASA on the Mercury and Apollo Space programs. He adopted Cincinnati as his home town and retired after 35 years from General Electric Aerospace Division.

He had a love for expensive cars. Corvettes, Jaguars, BMW, Mercedes and then Tesla. He was among the most caring natured, generous and wise men.
