Bernard E. Greathouse, 77, of Hartville, OH, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 9, 2019 after a brief illness. He was born on April 1, 1941 in Spencer, West Virginia to the late Euell and Nola (Starcher) Greathouse. Bernard was a retired supervisor from Teledyne Monarch. He attended Uniontown Chapel of Faith Church. He loved his grand-kids and enjoyed setting up at the flea market. Bernard is survived by his wife Barbara (Wyatt) Greathouse, with whom they would have celebrated 59 years of marriage this February 13th; two sons, Larry (Denise) Greathouse of Spencer, Keith (and the late Jill) Greathouse of Uniontown; four grandchildren, Eric(Mandy) of Parkersburg, Seth of Spencer, Evan Greathouse of Walton, and Emily and Travis of Uniontown; two great-grandsons, Landon and Wesley of Parkersburg; four brothers, Fred ( Peggy), Charles (Beverly), Jerry (Jeri) all of Spencer, Terry ( Debbie) of Gandeeville, West Virgnia. Calling hours are Tuesday 4-7 pm at Arnold Funeral Home, Hartville, Ohio. Funeral services are Thurday, 1 pm at Taylor- Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer, WV, with Pastor Larry Jones officiating. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the funeral service from 11-1pm. Final resting place is Eventide Cemetery.
