BARBARA FAYE JURKOVICH, 78, of Spencer, West Virginia passed away Sunday, October 23, 2016 at the Roane General Hospital in Spencer. She was born August 26, 1938 in Putnam County, West Virginia a daughter of the late Earl T. and Freda Davis McLaughlin. She was employed in housekeeping at Roane General for several years, enjoyed playing bingo and was Baptist by faith. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Jurkovich; her husband, Freddie Joe Jurkovich; and two sisters, Betty Goff and an infant, Donna Jean. She is survived by three sons, Thomas E. Jurkovich of Walton, West Virginia, Daniel W. (Regina) Jurkovich of Amma, West Virginia, and Timothy A. (Kathy) Jurkovich of Spencer; three sisters, Patricia Little of Cleveland, Ohio, Joyce Hoylman of Charleston, West Virginia and Dorothy Brown of Spencer; two brothers, Jimmy McLaughlin of Charleston, and Roger McLaughlin of Poca, West Virginia; eight grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Service will be held at 11:00am Thursday, October 27, 2016 at the TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME, Spencer, with Rev. Glenn Goff officiating. Burial will be in the Eventide Cemetery, Spencer. Visiting hours will be from 5:00 to 7:00pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
