Augustus "Bud" Wesley Martin, 73, of Gandeeville, WV, went home to be the Lord on December 5, 2021 at Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV.

He was born April 27, 1948 in Charleston, WV and was the son of the late Augustus and Ruby Osborne Martin.

Bud was a carpenter and union painter. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with his family and attending church at Spencer Tabernacle.

Left to cherish his memory, are his children, John Martin (Teresa) of Spencer, WV and Jeannean Fisher (David) of Dunbar, WV; grandchildren, Meghan Martin and Heather Martin, Ryan Newhouse and Jacob Newhouse, and Sarah Fisher; two sisters, Letha Shaffer of Gandeeville, WV and Carol Humphrey (Richard) of Walton, WV; and a host of other family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Judith Ann Martin; and two brothers, William "Pete" and Michael Martin.

A celebration of his life will be held 11 A.M. ~ Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer, WV with Pastor Loren Price officiating.  Burial will follow at the Martin Family Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
