Audrey Ellen (Crum) Salmons, 96, from Spencer WV passed away on June 4, 2023 after a short illness.
Audrey was born in Logan County, WV on 12-19-26 to parents Melvin and Cynthia Crum.  She married Jess Willard Salmons on 8-31-1944 and celebrated their 65th Anniversary before his passing.

Audrey Salmons was the last living person from her generation. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her daughter Charmaine Ramsey and son Mark Salmons.  She was preceded in death by her siblings: Herbert Crum, Holbert Crum, John Crum, Winford Crum, Roscoe Crum and Ruth Crum.
Audrey is survived by children Cynthia Moore (Doug) and Gary Salmons (Kathryn). Grandchildren include: Christy Craft, Tina Vanburen, Andrea Miller, Renee Copley, Jason Salmons, Brooke Andrick, Luke Salmons, Gabriel Ramsey, Rachel Crihfield, Sarah Ramsey, Noah Salmons and David Salmons. She is survived by 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchildren.
Audrey better known as Mom or Granny lived her long life to the fullest. She was a great wife who made a great life with her husband of 65 years. She loved her children and their families. She was an accepting person who was happy to give advice.  She loved the Lord. She was a member of the Spencer Church of the Nazarene and a Sunday school teacher for many years. She supported youth programs and missions. She loved to read and continually learn. She loved to travel and was always ready to visit family or go on fishing trips with Papaw. She loved sports and supported her children and grandchildren by attending their sporting events and games. She loved being outdoors watching birds and taking in the sunshine. She loved angels and her home was a testament to this with her collectibles throughout. We will miss her and pray an angel be at her side.

Visitation will be at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home on Wed June 7, 2023 from 4-6 PM. Funeral services will be held 11am on June 8, 2023 at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Spencer Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are by Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home.
