Arthur Eugene Nichols, 86, of Ripley, formerly of Spencer, WV, passed away July 20, 2021 at Jackson General Hospital in Ripley, WV.

He was born July 4, 1935 in Spencer, WV and was the son of the late Arthur B. and Gracie Spencer Nichols.

Arthur enjoyed collecting items, going to the Ripley Senior Center and sitting at the Ripley Courthouse visiting with people.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Nichols.

Left behind to cherish his memory, is one brother, Bill Nichols of St. Albans, WV; three nephews, Randall Nichols (Lynn) of Hamilton, GA, Kent (Dawna) Nichols of St. Albans, WV and Timothy (Nancy) Nichols of Milton, WV and special caregiver, Barbara Godfrey of Ripley, WV.

Services will be 2:00 PM~ Saturday, July 31,2021 at Ripley 1st Church of God, 3720 Cedar Lakes Dr. Ripley, WV 25271. Burial will be at a later date at Hebron Cemetery in Spencer, WV.
