April Mae Rogers, 47, of Spencer, WV departed this world on January 20th at home.

She was born April 20th, 1978. She did a lot of volunteering and was a caregiver in her earlier years. She was a devoted Christian and attended the Gilboa Baptist Church.  She spent her life caring for everyone around her.

She was preceded in death by her father Clovis Ice; a grandmother, Sharron Ice.

April is survived by her husband of 30 years, William Rogers; mother, Peggy Ice; four daughters, Trystan and Autumn Rogers of Spencer, Shyi (Nathan) Burdette of Reedy, Tru (Justin) Workman of Parkersburg, WV; three grandchildren, Rhylee, Bentlee, And Hadlee of Reedy; a step-son, Troy Frederick of Parkersburg; two sisters, Jamyi Rogers and Billie Ice of Tennessee; and a long list of friends.

April's service and committal will be held at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer, WV on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 11:00 am.
